In order to protect information assets from all kinds of threats such as leakage, loss or damage, those who handle information assets, including officers and employees, comply with this policy and ensure, maintain and improve information security such as confidentiality, completeness and availability of information assets.

• Approach towards Information Security

  Recognizing the importance of information security, we will develop and implement related regulations to ensure the timely and effective use of information in accordance with the “Mitsui Bussan Corporate Governance and Internal Control Principles”, and information assets (information and IT systems). We will manage the system appropriately and continuously improve it.

• Compliance with Laws and Regulations (Establishment of Compliance)

  We will comply with laws and regulations related to information security, established standards, and other norms, and will work to build and ensure information security that complies with and conforms to these.

• Protection of Information Assets

  We will take appropriate measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets, and will endeavor to protect information assets from all threats that threaten them.

• Response to Accidents

  We will endeavor to prevent information security-related accidents, and in the unlikely event of an accident, we will promptly take appropriate measures, including not only accident response but also recurrence prevention measures.

• Education and Training

  We will provide education and training for our officers and employees to recognize the importance of information security and to ensure proper management of information assets.
